Stochastic Resource Optimization of Random Access for Transmitters with Correlated Activation

چکیده

For a range of scenarios arising in sensor networks, control and edge computing, communication is event-triggered; that is, response to the environment communicating devices. A key feature device activity this setting correlation, which particularly relevant for sensing physical phenomena such as earthquakes or flooding. Such correlation introduces new challenge design resource allocation scheduling random access aim maximize throughput expected sum-rate, do not admit closed-form expression. In letter, we develop stochastic optimization algorithms scheme provably converge with probability one locally optimal solutions sum-rate. algorithm number parameters need be estimated grows at most linearly We show via simulations our outperform existing approaches terms sum-rate by up 30% moderate available slots.

Outage Probability Bound and Diversity Gain for Ultra-Wideband Multiple-Access Relay Channels with Correlated Noises

In this paper, Ultra-wideband (UWB) multiple access relay channel with correlated noises at the relay and receiver is investigated. We obtain outer and inner bounds for the IEEE 802.15.3a UWB multiple access relay channel, and also, a diversity gain bound. Finally, we evaluate some results numerically and show that noise correlation coefficients play important role in determining relay position.
